Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 of 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix had an early flair for athletics when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting ability at the at the time. Just 10 weeks after her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. She later attended in the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. She broke an Junior World Record doing 200 m in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest ever world winner in the 200m at the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, defeating her time-tested Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in all her competitions in the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
